Tinuviel Oliviette Liter
[/center]
nicknames: Via, Vie. Is only called Tinuviel by her closest friends.
career: Merch girl for Radio Soul
birth date: Nineteen. August fifth, 1990.
sexuality: Heterosexual
personality traits:
Observant - Though thoroughly competent of being social, Via prefers observing others and their actions. This timidity comes in handy when trying to figure others' moods. Years of watching, listening, and observing make her a pretty little fly on the wall.
Giggly - Since she is on the shy side, Via is quick to giggle girlishly whenever someone pipes a humorous comment in a conversation. This habit proves quite bothersome in those awkward situations where all you can do is laugh.
Practical - Though she has a silly side, Via is quite a practical girl. She's the one who thinks of the less-extravagant-but-work-twice-as-well ideas and likes life with a little less drama. Her skills at selling things are very well, so she is the merchandise girl for Radio Soul.
Shy - Via is one of those girls who aspire to be bubbly, have the personality for it, but just cannot climb out of her shell. Her rickety past makes her skeptical of people so she is innocent, but independent.

history: Via Liter grew up in a suburb Cleveland, the section of the city where the beautiful housewives clucked together over brunch and the husbands were busy making their worthy incomes in business suits. As a child, Via adored being dressed up girlishly and going to brunch with her mother. Via observed the other housewives with her large, Italian eyes, for she was far too young to take part in the conversations herself. She soon noticed who disliked who and who was lying in the daily gossips by their body language and the looks in their eyes. But after these fake festivities ended, Via went home and read Shakespeare with her mother. She soon learned her mother wanted not to be a housewife, but to be an English teacher. This is how Via got her literature-inspired name meaning 'nightingale' in Sindarin. But Via's father would disapprove of this career for his wife so very much.
Via, in fact, was scared of her father. He always came home looking stressed and angry at times. He always cracked open an amber-y hued crystal bottle of whiskey immediately returning from the city and downing the bottle within the hour. If Via ever needed help with her homework, wanted to play, or just had the urge for some father-daughter bonding time, he would beat her. His slapping, hitting, kicking and yelling broke the poor girl's heart, so she never spoke to her father unless it was absolutely critical. On father's day every little child made cards in class for their daddies, but Via just sat at her desk obediently, hands clasped, and lips pursed. The teachers would always be curious about this, but never asked.
Upon going into high school, Via learned things weren't as sweet as they could be in the Liter household. Mr. Liter was now a raging alcoholic, working from home and investing in the stock market while his wife and child timidly obeyed him. When she was a sophomore, she found a passion for singing. She did not follow this trend, for her voice required an acquired taste, for it was rich and baritone; feminine, but deeply Italian. Nothing a present day popstar would even dream of liking. When her father died from liver complications in her junior year, Via did not cry. She wanted to, for it was her father, but she just couldn't. There was so much she cried about when he was alive, she decided her tears about him would halt. Her mother, of course, showered Cleveland with tears, mourning the loss of her husband. It was for the best though, and Mrs. Liter knew it.
Via made friends with her fellow bandmates and enjoys their presence, for they would not bring up her past. This is because none of them knew. None of them knew about her singing, either; but that didn't matter. They already had great male singers. But maybe, just maybe, she can confide in someone, get her mixed emotions out, and finally try to come out of her shell.
